Start Strong. Stay Protected

NHOU® Rustoration Rust Converter & Prep chemically transforms rust into a white, zinc-phosphate layer in just 30 minutes. This etched surface enhances oil adhesion and penetration, sealing out oxygen, displacing moisture, and stopping rust in its tracks.

The Ultimate Rust-Fighting Treatment for Used Rides

You wish you’d started sooner — but it’s not too late. Our proprietary Rustoration® Rust Converter can eliminate 70–90% of existing rust and is engineered to work seamlessly with NHOU® protective coatings. NH Oil Undercoating®.

Stronger Than Salt. Smarter Than Rust

NH Oil is engineered to form a self-healing, unbreakable barrier. Unlike coatings that crack or chip, our petroleum-based formula stays fluid — allowing it to seal over abrasions and protect even in the harshest environments. With yearly applications through participating dealers, your vehicle qualifies for a lifetime transferable guarantee.

Now more than ever, rust proofing is essential. The rise of liquid salt brines — used in anti-icing and pre-wetting strategies — poses a major corrosion threat. Brines stick to metal, activate instantly, and outperform traditional rock salt, especially in colder temperatures.

Transportation agencies call anti-icing proactive. You should too — fight corrosion before it starts.

NHOU® Rustoration® Rust Converter: First Line of Defense

Rustoration® Rust Converter was specifically engineered to work hand-in-hand with NH Oil Undercoating®. With nearly 3,500 vehicles passing through our shop each year, we’ve had the time, experience, and insight to perfect both the product and its application.

When we launched NHOU®, our mission was simple: offer an affordable, effective way for people to extend the life of their vehicles. As New England natives, we’ve seen firsthand how brutal corrosion can be — and how critical proactive protection is.

Because we use what we create, we get real-world feedback daily. This gives us a unique edge — not just in performance, but also in designing products that are practical and user-friendly. And yes, we still pick up the phone when you call — because support matters.

NHOU® Rustoration® Rust Converter and NH Oil Undercoating® are built to combat corrosion. Our undercoating is a petroleum-based formula infused with rust inhibitors and contains no solvents. It’s environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-reactive, and non-corrosive. You can spray it in any weather — it stays active and protective long after application. It’s also nonhazardous and unregulated, making it one of the safest choices on the market.

Precision Prep for Optimal Rustoration® Performance

Proper surface prep is key to the effectiveness of Rustoration® Rust Converter. We mechanically remove loose rust and scale using a bristled brush, needle gun, or sandblaster — not to eliminate all rust, but to expose a stable surface for chemical bonding. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease or oil (no prior oiling). If exposed to salt spray, we rinse and dry thoroughly before application to ensure maximum performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely not! NH Oil Undercoating® takes a completely different approach—eliminating electrical issues, improving performance, and extending vehicle life. It even helps reduce corrosion-related warranty claims, which benefits both manufacturers and drivers. That’s why it’s trusted and used by leading automotive dealerships nationwide.

NH Oil Undercoating® is formulated to be low-drip. In rare cases of heavy application, minimal dripping may occur—easily cleaned with Dawn® dish soap or Simple Green®.

NHOU is atomized under high pressure which pushes the product deep into the seams, cracks and crevices where corrosion starts. Once applied, the product removes the moisture in these areas and provides a strong adherence to these surfaces, remaining active with excellent “creeping” and self-healing abilities.

Yes—our oil-based formula chases water, allowing for application even on damp days. In fact, moisture can enhance its ability to penetrate tight seams and crevices. Unlike products that mix with water, NHOU® displaces it—ensuring better, longer-lasting protection.
